As the air cools over Mission Valley, Vegan in San Diego has gathered vendors to share seasonal cheer at the new Seasoned Greetings Market. Mingle among booths offering veganized holiday gifts, beverages, and food—much of which can be taken home and shared with friends and family. The open air pop-up market will be hosted in the generous outdoor space at the Art Institute of CaliforniaSan Diego.

Expect seasonal items—available only this time of year—and an array of independent gift vendors curated to accommodate a breath of prices. Admission to the market is FREE, and there’s plenty of free parking on site! Please help us spread the joy of the giving season and the bounty of veganism with a donation of non-perishable vegan food items for the Art Institute’s student food bank. Every item donated entitles you to one raffle ticket for a $75 gift card to Donna Jean–a 100% vegan restaurant in Bankers Hill who cares deeply that all people are fed and fed well (drawing on Sunday, Dec. 17).

At The Art Institute of California – San Diego, the Food Pantry provides food to any students in need—no questions asked. The current stock is about to expire and needs to be refilled. Please help us ensure that the Food Pantry offers vegan options so that no student goes hungry throughout the year. With your donations of non-perishable vegan foods—such as rice, pasta/noodles, non-refrigerated plant-based milk, canned goods, beans, dehydrated fruit, nuts, vegan jerky, chips, pretzels, soup, protein bars, crackers, or peanut butter—we can restock the pantry for the next quarter. We’d also like to thank local furniture dealer, bkm OfficeWorks for contributing a brand new storage cabinet to house the food donations.
